Are scans in new zealand fetal or gestational age? Had a scan but only says measurements consistent with 5 +4 weeks... it doesn't say if that is fetal age or gestational age. Are scans in New Zealand usually to measure fetal or gestational age? (hcg levels higher than expected and don't fit with scan) Thanks. Additional Details I have found out from google that they are usually fetal age. But am not sure they are the same in New Zealand. There is about two weeks difference between gestational age and fetal age. Gestational age is from last period and fetal from conception.

I had sex on April 14th and April 23rd. We used a condom both times and checked then afterwards. The first time he pulled out before he came, the second time he came in the condom and then pulled out. But as I said, we checked the condom. My period was suppose to start May 2nd.
